WatchRider Syndication Terms

WatchRider provides public RSS feeds so readers, aggregators and publishers can follow and republish our watch journalism while preserving a clear path to the original article.

Permission to republish

You may republish the full or partial text supplied directly in a WatchRider public RSS feed, subject to these terms. WatchRider-owned photographs may be republished with the corresponding article, retaining all credits. Third-party images, including manufacturer press photographs, are excluded unless expressly identified as cleared for republication. Their inclusion in an RSS feed does not itself grant permission to reuse them.

  • Display the article author and WatchRider as the original publisher.
  • Keep a visible, direct hyperlink to the original article URL supplied in the feed. Publishers may qualify that link with rel="nofollow" or another appropriate link attribute. Do not route the link through an intermediary or hide it from readers.
  • Do not claim authorship, remove image credits or materially misrepresent the article.
  • Full or substantially complete copies published on other websites must be excluded from Google Search and Google News. Publishers must place <meta name="Googlebot" content="noindex"> in the republished page’s HTML head and allow Google to crawl that page so it can read the instruction. This requirement does not apply to short excerpts linking to the original article.

Image and third-party rights

This permission applies only to rights WatchRider owns or is authorized to syndicate. Product names, trademarks, supplied press material and other third-party rights remain the property of their respective owners. The republisher is responsible for confirming any additional rights required for its use.

Each republisher is responsible for its own website, obtaining any additional permissions and implementing the attribution and indexing requirements in these terms. Republication does not imply WatchRider’s endorsement of the republisher or its website.

Accuracy and withdrawal

Use the current feed version of an article. WatchRider may correct, update or withdraw content and may revoke syndication permission where these terms are not followed.
